"The tale of the theme "Age of Aquarius" expands into the third act, finding the protagonist (you?) in the dying nocturna, amongst the remnants and bodies left by such celebratory moments.
The summer dawn is rising, and you float through the neighborhood in an altered state of perception after a night of...higher consciousness.
The concept of the theme's narrative is centered around the summer of '67, an evening in the heart of Haight-Ashbury, and the hijinks that ensue. LALAZAR celebrates what can never be again with our vignettes, crafted from the epic imagery.
While we would never ask anyone to follow our interpretations (heaven forbid), we honor the artist posthumously by creating our own narratives, invigorating the artworks through the telling of a tale captured in a fabled moment in time.
This collection of individual brilliance has been themed together by LALAZAR because it evokes the acid-dosed moment that was the Age of Aquarius, also known as the 60’s, the era of hippies and flower power. Imagine a time when a Summer of Love was reality.
Some say the era died in 1969 at Altamont."
Each of our works of art is available to purchase as prints on fine art paper or canvas. In both cases, our manufacturer uses giclée, eco-solvent inkjet printers that are color calibrated regularly to ensure the most color-accurate prints. This process yields bright, vivid, and amazing colors that will resist fading for over 100 years, which helps your prints become heirlooms for generations to come.
Fine Art Paper Prints
We use only the finest art paper available on the market. Our thick, luxurious fine art papers are archival-grade and acid-free, which ensures that your prints stay bright and beautiful for years to come. Depending on the nature of the individual art piece, we have chosen to reproduce it on either a hot press smooth matte fine art paper or a cold press textured matte fine art paper. For care instructions, visit our Care Instructions page.
Canvas Prints
We use thick, archival-grade canvas to ensure longevity. Because our canvas is pH neutral and acid-free, it won’t yellow over time. Its bright white surface and semi-glossy sheen serve as a perfect foundation for our vibrant art pieces to truly shine. We also use high quality, solid wood stretcher bars to ensure that our canvas prints don’t warp or bow over time. For care instructions, visit our Care Instructions page. Hanging hardware is included.
